One phrase I have spoken for many years is that "Yeshua never quoted from the N.T". But even though I said it, I never did anything about it towards expanding my knowledge on it. That has ended. I never even thought about it until someone opened my eyes to the fact the in reality, none of the writers of the N.T. saw it in it's completed form nor did they even know that there would be this collection of writings put togther as a continuation of the O.T. (Yes, I said a 'continuation'). The N.T. did NOT replace the O.T. nor did it change anything!

I don't know about you, but I hate those straight bar timelines because in order for them to have everything in history, it would either have to be as long as a football field or have lettering so small that it's worthless to those of us with old eyes. This one is unigue as it goes in a circle and not only has biblical, but secular history as well so we can see how it all worked together. Right now, (and I don't know how long this deal is on), you can get the 45 inch by 35 inch wall poster, the downloadable .pdf timeline and a chart on the life of Jesus as well for 20 bucks! Torah Class Old Testament Bible Study for a New Testament Understanding Torah is the Hebrew word for the first 5 books of the Bible and it is the foundation of the Old Testament just as the Old Testament is the foundation of the New. The Old Testament (Tanach) is the Holy Scripture that Jesus (Yeshua, in Hebrew) taught from, and His Disciples referred to, since there was no New Testament until well after the time of the Apostles that succeeded Him. I, (and pretty much everyone I know), heartily recommend this awesome teaching web site. First off, the teacher here translates to english directly from the Hebrew instead of Hebrew>Greek Sep.>English. Tom Bradford makes this so easy to learn the Hebrew and the translation to english that soon you will be using Hebrew words and phrases as easily as you do english now. [Trust me on that becuz, as a redneck, I kin barly speek englesh now..LOL] J/K After going through this teaching for the last 6 months myself... I will describe it like this: Reading the Old Testament in the translation we have now is like the smell of a beautiful flower. Getting it translated directly from the Hebrew is like standing in ten acres of roses and watching them all unfurl at the same time. This comes in bothe text and audio that you can download or read or play right from the sight. Try the first couple of chapters in Genesis... I think it will surprise you. Shalom
