Now I know that most of you reading this has been "in love" before. Not "puppy love", but a deep seated love for someone that takes control of your every thought and motion. Ah, how wonderful it is to experience that ! But, then, most, as they go on, find out that it is only one sided. Oh sure, it seems to be a love ordained in heaven, for awhile, then, slowly but surely, the other persons love seems to dissipate...No longer are YOU the only thing on their mind. All the distractions, and allurements of the things and people around pulls their love away, and then, there you are ......with so much to give, and the other won't receive any longer...( such a sad place to be...).
Saints, do you remember when you first partake of Gods love ? How WONDERFUL it was ? You wanted nothing but to baste in it 24/7...! Then, slowly but surely, YOUR love seemed to wan... grow dim...the influences of this world wrapping you with the cares of this life...Then, there you stand, on the other end of a one sided love...
Oh how terribly lonesome and sad the Lord must be...
Return to your first Love saints....He is there with open arms, yearning to share the fullness of His love, once again, with you...
Make your desire only to be for Him......and no one or nothing else...
