A powerful earthquake struck off Argentina's south coast, according to the US Geological Survey
The epicentre of the quake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale was some 335 kilometres south-east of the port city of Ushuaia, at a depth of 10 kilometres under the sea, the USGS said on its website.
According to Argentine officials, the earthquake was not felt on Tierra del Fuego and no injures or damage were reported.
