Governor Candidate Arrested at Campaign Headquarters
"First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a communist;
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist;
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew;
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak out for me." Pastor Martin Niemöller

Governor Candidate Arrested at Campaign Headquarters
This morning at approximately 7:30 Neal Horsley, a candidate for Governor of Georgia, was placed under arrest at his campaign headquarters in Carrollton, Georgia. Law enforcement officers from the FBI, Atlanta, and Carrollton were involved according to eye witness, Robert Rudnick.
Rudnick reports that he and Esther O’Toole, both volunteers for the Horsley for Governor Campaign, along with Horsley, heard loud banging on the door of the campaign headquarters located at a wear house facility in Carrollton. The police placed all three face down on the ground, machine guns drawn, placed Horsley under arrest, and allowed the other two temporary detainees to go free. Horsley was taken to the Fulton County Jail.
The facility was home to hundreds of fellow anti-abortionists in 1988 during an Operation Rescue event in which hundreds were arrested for blocking access to abortion facilities. Horsley has made his opposition to sodomy and abortion and his advocacy for states’ rights to outlaw both to be the center of his campaign.
Highlighting his advocacy for traditional moral standards and his vociferous rejection of the federal government’s claim for sovereignty over the states in matters of law, ethics, and morality, Horsley recently expressed particular civic indignation to the sacrilegious declarations of singer, Elton John. A renowned sodomist, Mr. John recently declared the blessed Lord Jesus to be “gay” as well. Such perfidy was met with gospel proclamations from Candidate Horsley to the effect that John would face the Judgment of God and not fare well because of his blasphemy.
Mrs. O’Toole and Mr. Rudnick heard references made to Elton John during the arrest process and were left to assume that the charges pertained to Candidate Horsley’s protestations regarding the Christian doctrine of Judgment Day and its particular relevance to John
Jonathan O’Toole, husband of Esther, reports that his wife, “called me crying and barely understandable this morning around 0800 EST.”
He reports her words to him, expressed sobbingly as follows: "Neal [Horsley] and Rob [Rudnick] were face down on the floor! They .pointed so many guns at me! "I was asleep and I heard some people; I thought I was dreaming! Then I opened the door to three guns at me...They handcuffed me, they were all three on me, I had no shoes but they didn't give me a chance to put them on, they walked me into the warehouse and I was so freaked out!”
Rudnick reports, "Early this morning I awoke to a resolute banging, I went into Neal's office and was immediately looking at SWAT shields and down the barrels of guns. I was cuffed and placed on the floor."
Rudnick says, “My best conjecture is that this is primarily related to the Elton John story which Horsley posted on re on YouTube"
