ANCHORAGE, Alaska - A 3.7-magnitude earthquake has struck several miles under the seabed off Kodiak Island.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the temblor hit at around 10:30 p.m. Saturday and was centered about 115 miles south of Kodiak.
There were no reports of any problems associated with the quake.
USGS geophysicist Randy Baldwin says the region is one of the more active quake zones in the world and quakes of around this magnitude are relatively frequent.
