Indonesia’s Moluccas Hit by 6.4-Magnitude Earthquake, USGS Says www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601080&sid=az0fDUYK4iXIMarch 14 (Bloomberg) -- A 6.4-magnitude earthquake hit Indonesia’s Moluccas, or Spice Islands, at 9:57 a.m. local time, according to a preliminary report from the U.S. Geological Survey. There is a “small possibility” of a tsunami affecting coasts no more than 100 kilometers (62 miles) from the earthquake’s epicenter, according to a bulletin from the U.S. Pacific Tsunami Warning Center. There is no “destructive widespread” threat, it said.
