SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) — The U.S. Geological Survey says a moderate earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.1 struck before dawn off the coast of Puerto Rico.
There was no immediate word that the quake was felt or caused any damage.
The USGS says the quake struck 61 miles north of the capital, San Juan, at a depth of 6.2 miles.
