Why
Hello saints. May the Lord of Glory bless you all, and open your eyes to the REAL world, the world of Spirit !
There are many things that go on in the lives of the saints, most of which are oppressive, and we all know , through the scriptures, where that oppression comes from. We will NOT be destroyed because of lack of knowledge, because we are children of LIGHT !
Let's look at Job :
1 : 1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man WAS PERFECT AND UPRIGHT, AND ONE THAT FEARED GOD, AND ESCHEWED EVIL.
Now we know the story, how that Job lost all his natural riches, and how that his friends, came to help, in what they thought as "wisdom". And after how that when Job showed "enduring faith and trust", the Lord blessed him.
We want to look at this for an example of what is going on in the heavens, and its correlation with the natural.
We see that there was no evidence of " BLAME" toward Job. Verse one substantiated that. So, why did all these things happen to him ? We could look at it as a "trial of faith", and surely it was, but the end result shows the real reason ( we will get to that).
As these things were happening to Job, he, like all who have a personal relationship with God, looked at just what may be the cause. Introspection is always good, but, sometimes....the reasons for things happening to us don't stem from within us. Sometimes there are other reasons....
Statement : The devil CANNOT do ANYTHING to us, without the approval of God.
God is the supreme AUTHORITY in the heavens and on earth !
Statement : God will use the evil in a being, to promote His Way, His cause, His plan.
Job 1 : 7 - 12, and 2: 1 - 6 reveals these two statements. Please take the time to read it...
Next we see "friends" of Job, that see his affliction, and with a friends heart, come to try to help....try to figure out the problem ( The Lords ways are not our ways............but what we can see of His ways, we would be a fool not to adhere to ). And as we read of the account, we can see a LOT of really good wisdom in the sayings of his friends, but, not consoling...In them was NOT the answer.
Saints I believe all this that Job went through was not for his benefit, but was for the benefit of the friends. I believe God wanted to take his friends into a deeper understanding , and used Job, a man of faith and pure heart, who God KNEW would survive the onslaught, to bring them there.
We read in Job 42 : 10 a. And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, WHEN HE PRAYED FOR HIS FRIENDS.
God wanted to bring in Jobs friends into a deeper awareness. They had a good head knowledge ! They even had some good wisdom. But the Lords plan for them summed it all up in : Job 42 : 10a.
Saints, the Lord is wanting to bring more saints into a deeper awareness. Sometimes, like Job, those that are the Prayer Warriors, must endure a LOT of afflictions ! Satan WILL challenge the situation ! He don't want to give up ground ! And he won't easily ! But, we are encouraged by seeing what the end result was with Job.
Now as far as I could find, there is no more about his friends. No great workings of miracles, or great teachings, but I DO know that the Lord blessed them mightily ! Think on this : After enduring such afflictions, how powerful do YOU think YOUR prayers would be !!! Tremendously Powerful ! Accomplishing Powerful !
All that Job endured, was for his friends benefit...
