SCRIPTURES ON PRAYER
Isaiah 58 : 9 Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer ; thou shalt cry, and He shall say , Here Am I. If thou take away from from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity .
Zechariah 13 : 9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried : they shall call on My name, and I will hear them : I will say , It is My people : and they shall say , The Lord is my God.
II Chronicles 7 : 14 If MY people , which are called by MY name, shall humble themselves, and PRAY, and seek MY face, and turn from their wicked ways ; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Matthew 6 : 6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret ; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
Matthew 6 : 7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do : for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Matthew 23 : 14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites ! for ye devour widows houses, and for a pretence, make long prayer : therefore ye shall receive the greater d**nation.
Matthew 26 : 41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation : the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak .
Luke 18 : 1 And He spake a parable unto them to this end , that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.
James 5 : 13 Is any among you afficted ? let him pray.
Romans 8 : 26,27 Like wise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities : for we know not what we should pray for as we ought : but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And He that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because He maketh intercession for the saints according to the WILL OF GOD.
John 16 : 24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in My name : ASK, and ye SHALL receive, that your JOY may be full.
Ephesians 6 : 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
Acts 4 : 31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together ; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the Word of God with boldness.
John 15 : 7 If ye abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Matthew 18 : 18,19 Verly I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth SHALL be bound in heaven : and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth SHALL be loosed in heaven . Again I say unto you , That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching ANY THING that they shall ask, it SHALL be done for them of My Father which is in heaven.
Ephesians 6 : 10 - 12 Finally, my BRETHREN , be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the DEVIL. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of THIS WORLD, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
The Lord is looking for Prayer Warriors saints !!! How else can this scripture be fulfilled ? Ephesians 4 : 13 Till we all come in the UNITY of the faith, and of the KNOWLEDGE of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.
Wake up from your slumber , saints, and WAR !!!
