Blast Maps The threat of nuclear terrorism is not limited to New York City or Washington, DC. While New York is widely seen as the most likely target, it is clear that Al Qaeda is not only capable but also interested in mounting attacks on other American cities, where people may be less prepared. Imagine the consequences of a 10-kiloton weapon exploding in San Francisco, Houston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Charlotte, or any other city Americans call home. From the epicenter of the blast to a distance of approximately one-third mile, every structure will be destroyed and no one would be left alive. A second circle of destruction extending three-quarters of a mile from ground zero would leave buildings looking like the Federal Office Building in Oklahoma City. A third circle reaching out 1 mile would be ravaged by fires and radiation. (Internet Explorer 6 is required to view Blast Maps)WOW! better check this one out folks. I entered my zip code and didn't like what I saw. Rats, I wasn't ground zero. I was in the secondary circle...lol. Of course, a terrorist wants maximum carnage or to hit a strategic location so I doubt that he would set it off anywhere near me anyway. Note: If you do this, be careful not to reveal anything that may be around you as this is a public forum and a terrorist could be reading it. (Loose Lips...yada, yada, yada...).
You must use Internet Explorer to open this page. I tried it with Mozilla Firefox and the map wouldn't load. PaddyClick here to visualize these consequences in the city of your choice.

I believe the first strike will be in the North East, when a strong and fast cold front is coming down...for more coverage.
